MTS Off-Road back-to-back with OEM Turbo R

We took our Turbo R out to Woodhill Off-Road park today to test out and compare the spring and suspension tuning kit from MTS Off-Road against a stock Turbo R. Woodhill is the perfect proving ground for suspension tuning; it's got small corrugation bumps , slower 4wd tracks with big ruts, and a fast track out the back with jumps and whoops.

Stock Performance

We all know a stock Polaris Turbo R with Dynamix handles pretty damn sweet out of the box, and this model was exactly that. Good bottom out control, but quite a firm ride, with noticeable rear end bucking.

MTS Off-Road Kit Performance

If you've been lucky enough to drive a Pro R, this is how the Turbo R now feels. It's as if the wheels are glued to the ground. Very noticeable increase in comfort, and the machine now uses more if its shock travel, more of the time. It stayed flatter through the whoops, and off jumps stayed level.

Closing Thoughts

If you are after more comfort, this MTS suspension kit is absolutely the way to get it. Our guest driver of the day summed it up well, previously he thought aftermarket springs and valving to be a complete waste of money, and now he wants it on his machine! Can't ask for better feedback than that.

If you're wanting to feel the difference yourself, get in touch and come along for a ride at Woodhill with us, and see for yourself!
